Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Luxuriously velvety on the nose, this Bruichladdich greets with rich PX sherry, ripe fig and raisin, date and plum, draped in dark toffee and cocoa. Subtle orange zest, vanilla, and toasted almond mingle with a whisper of maritime salt and a light smoke, balancing syrupy fruit with refined oak and spice.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this Bruichladdich fuses indulgent PX sweetness with Islay depth. Notes of fig, prune and date blend with molasses, cocoa and orange zest, lifted by vanilla and oak spice. A touch of sea breeze weaves through as the finish unfolds slowly—warm, long, and elegantly sweet, with dried fruit and toffee lingering.
Finish
An opulent PX sherry finish that lingers with velvet warmth. Dried fruits—raisin, fig, and date—meet orange zest, toasted almond, and dark chocolate; spices and a whisper of smoke weave through supple oak, leaving a long, dessert-wine finish on the palate.
