Douglas Laing's "Old Particular" is a particularly unique series of individually hand-selected aged Single Cask Malts' and Single Cask Single Grains from all over Scotland. This 21 year old Bowmore single malt whisky, bottled in 2020, is one of 264 bottles aged exclusively in a refill hogshead.

Golden amber with warm honey tones and a subtle copper glow.

Nose

Sweet summer fruits with a kiss of rock candy, woven with coastal peat and sea salt for a bright, maritime Islay aroma.

Palate

On the palate, tropical pineapple mingles with peach against a backbone of peated barley, delivering bright fruit sweetness tempered by subtle smoke and a creamy, coastal polish.

Finish

Long, lingering finish that returns more stoned fruits—peach and apricot—against the signature Islay smoke, all wrapped in a syrupy sweetness that coats the palate and fades to coastal warmth.
