" A Bowmore like no other: not always happy in its own skin, but when it relaxes towards the finish, it positively pulses its Islay credentials."

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery shimmer, a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Islay peat and sea-salt rise first, carried by Mizunara sandalwood and exotic spice. Vanilla‑toned citrus, honeyed warmth and toasted cedar mingle with a trace of incense, giving the aroma a refined oriental edge. The focus stays smoky and maritime, luxuriously seasoned by the Japanese oak finish.
Palate
On the palate, bold Islay peat is tempered by Mizunara oak, yielding a smoky, resinous core. Creamy vanilla, sandalwood and a whisper of coconut mingle with warm spice. Sea-salt brightness and pepper drift through the mid-palate, finishing with an elegant, lingering kiss of Japanese oak and subtle char.
Finish
Long, refined finish where Bowmore’s peat relaxes into warm Mizunara spice. Smoke lingers with sandalwood and vanilla, touched by coastal brine and incense. The exotic oak lends a subtle sweetness and a silky dryness, leaving a persistent ember of smoky elegance.
