Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a coppery glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea breeze mingle with bright lemon zest and salted caramel. Sherry sweetness hints at dried fig and raisin, while dark chocolate and toasted oak provide depth. A touch of vanilla and spice threads through, finishing with maritime elegance.
Palate
Vibrant peat and coastal smoke open this Bowmore, coaxing salted caramel, lemon zest and brine. Sherry notes of fig, raisin and dark chocolate mingle with vanilla and spice, layering depth over a glossy, full mouthfeel. The finish is long and maritime, with ash, citrus rind and a warming kiss of oak and heat from the 57.4% ABV.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with smoky peat and a saline tang, slowly revealing sweet sherry-soaked fruit, dark cocoa and dried fig. The warmth lingers in a resinous, coastal hush, with wisps of vanilla and spice coating the tongue as the smoke softly fades.
