Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, sun-kissed amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Islay peat smoke pours from the glass, mingling with sea-salt and coastal brine. Sun-warmed citrus zest and vanilla rise over a bed of rich toffee, while dried fig and a whisper of sherry add depth and velvety sweetness.
Palate
Silky, richly peated, the palate opens with sea-salt smoke and bright lemon zest, yielding velvety toffee, honeyed vanilla, and cocoa. Sherried dark fruits—fig and raisin—flare beneath a measured spice as maritime iodine lingers. Oak and espresso-dark chocolate balance a long, buoyant, softly smoky finish.
Finish
Silky, lingering finish with sea-salt delicacy and a soft peat echo. Sherry-influenced sweetness blooms into dried fig and dark chocolate, then fades to warm spice and polished oak. A long, refined maritime fade that lingers with a whisper of ash and vanilla.
