Colour
Rich sunset amber with coppery glow and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent Oloroso sherry dominates the nose, releasing a plume of dried fruit cake, fig and raisin, orange zest, and dark chocolate. A whisper of cinnamon and toasted almond lends warmth, while polished oak hints at the 16-year maturation.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate, this 16-year-old blends rich fruit cake sweetness with dark chocolate depth. Oloroso sherry cask influence layers dried fruit, roasted almond and a subtle cinnamon warmth. Velvety texture with gracious sweetness, finishing long with cocoa-spiced warmth and a resonant, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Long, luxurious, and gently warming, the finish drapes dark chocolate and dried fruit in a ribbon of soft sherry sweetness. Cinnamon spice blooms as the oak steps forward, leaving a lingering, refined warmth that carries through to the finale.
