Bladnoch Connoisseurs Choice Single Malt Scotch Whisky 21 Year Old · 1993 Vintage
Out of stock
Great old fashioned Lowland from a troubled distillery that has been off and on production wise for the last 20 years so independent bottles are the best way of trying this most southernly of Scotland's distilleries. Notes of lemon rind, apple, kiwi, star fruit, melon & cucumber here with a fresh yet oily complexity and notes of white pepper, malty vanilla and minty agave/tequilla.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with a delicate sunlit honey glow.
Nose
Bright lemon rind and crisp apple rise, with tropical echoes of kiwi, star fruit, melon and cucumber. An oily, fresh facet glides through the aroma, spiced by white pepper and malted vanilla, while a minty agave/tequila note adds a clean, herbaceous lift.
Palate
Bright and lightly oily on the palate, lemon rind and green apple lead, mingling with kiwi, star fruit, melon and cucumber for a crisp, refreshing fruit profile. Subtle malty vanilla lends warmth, while white pepper adds a gentle lift. A minty agave-tequila note threads through, finishing clean with a cool, lingering glow.
Finish
Long, citrus-bright finish, lemon rind and green fruit lingering on an oily palate. White pepper and minty vanilla unfold, with a faint note of agave-tequila. The malty sweetness fades to a crisp, cucumber-fresh memory that lingers softly.
