Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden amber with honeyed highlights and a warm copper glow.
Nose
Malty with a bright citrus tang, the aroma feels clean and direct. After a moment, vanilla notes unfold, softening the spirit’s bite, while hints of custard powder and custard cream biscuits lend comforting, old-fashioned sweetness.
Palate
An initial, lively warmth gives way to a graceful interlude of malt and vanilla, the bourbon cask imprint bringing creamy vanillin sweetness. Youthful edges linger, lending a hint of roughness, but the malt carries the sip to a warmly malty, slightly custardy finish.
Finish
A little unstable, the finish flickers with playful heat pockets across the palate, then settles into a creamy custard-vanilla sweetness that triumphs, lingering with warm, comforting tones.
