Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany edges and a copper-gold glow.
Nose
Slightly oily and complex, the nose unfolds with sherry, raisin, coconut and a generous burst of spice.
Palate
Full-bodied and lush, this pours with a silky, slightly oily mouthfeel that coats the tongue. Rich sherry influences fuse with raisin, coconut and spice, while honeyed sweetness and toasted oak mingle with smoke and ginger. Toffee and malt surface mid-palate, unfolding into a long, velvety finish that lingers with warmth and refined complexity.
Finish
Toffee and malt linger in a lengthy, velvety finish, marrying honeyed sweetness with oak and gentle smoke. Ginger spice threads through as sherry-tinged notes of raisin and coconut fade to a warm, persistent glow.
