One of the BenRiach single cask selection Batch 14 releases for 2017.
This Speyside single malt was distilled on 19th January 2007 using peated malt, before filling to a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt to mature for 10 years.
Bottled at a cask strength of 62.2% abv in June 2017, only 451 bottles have been produced.
Rich sultana syrup, stewed orchard fruits and a touch of oak spice on the nose.
The palate has apricot jam, chocolate -covered raisins and a crisp oak spice with waves of barley sugar.

Deep amber with rich copper highlights and a mahogany edge, a warm, sunlit hue suggesting toasted oak.

Rich sultana syrup envelops the nose, mingling with stewed orchard fruits and a subtle touch of oak spice.

Apricot jam and chocolate-covered raisins unfold across the palate, lifted by crisp oak spice and waves of barley sugar, finishing with a warm, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of dried fruit and oak spice, with apricot jam and sultana lingering. Chocolate-covered raisin notes persist, harmonizing with barley sugar and a whisper of peat as the sherry-driven warmth gradually fades.
