Although this is classed as a blend, it is in fact a blend of malt only from the Ben Nevis distillery and also it was blended as new spirit 40 years ago, so has spent it's entire 40 years pretty much living the life as a single malt. Unique and special.

Nose
Opulent sherried aromas unfold with dark plum and raisin, braided with toffee, fig, and a whisper of orange zest. Vanilla peaks, toasted oak, and a malt-honey backbone rise to the fore, while hints of leather and cocoa deepen the bouquet. A refined, long-lasting aroma that hints at four decades of maturation and luxurious, dessert-like sweetness.
Palate
Silky, malt-forward palate with refined sherry influence; dried fruits, toffee and toasted almond mingle with warm vanilla. Rich oak and subtle cocoa unfold, balancing sweetness with spice. A long, polished finish leaves gentle warmth and lingering timber notes.
