Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, glowing amber with coppery highlights and a dusky mahogany core, catching light like sunset in a decanter. Rich, warm tones with caramel-bronze edges, hinting at sherry influence.
Nose
Opulent sherried aroma with ripe dried fruits—figs, raisins, dates—laced with orange zest and vanilla. Caramel, toffee and toasted oak mingle with walnut, cocoa and cinnamon spice. Subtle tobacco and leather notes add depth, delivering a warm, refined sweetness that hints at celebration and timeless elegance.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, sherry-kissed dried fruits (prune, fig and raisin) braided with toffee, dark chocolate and a nutty sweetness. Almond and walnut notes emerge with honeyed spice, vanilla and a whisper of leather oak. Richly fragrant, it remains balanced and full-bodied, finishing long with warm oak, subtle tannins and a lingering caramel sweetness.
Finish
Silky, lingering finish with rich sherry fruit and toasted oak extending into a long, warm fade. Dried fig, cocoa and orange zest mingle with gentle spice, then drift into a velvety, oaky afterglow that leaves refined sweetness and a subtle touch of nutmeg.
