- Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year Old 43% ABV 5cl
The Balvenie DoubleWood gains its distinctive character from being matured in two different wood types. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting Whisky.
- Balvenie Doublewood 17 Year Old 43% ABV 5cl
The DoubleWood 17 year old is an elder sibling to DoubleWood 12 year old and shares its honeyed, spicy characteristics, but it is distinctly different, with deeper vanilla notes, hints of green apple, creamy toffee and a striking richness and complexity.
- Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old 43% ABV 5cl
The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year old single malt whisky has been matured in traditional oak whisky casks for 14 years, and then ‘finished’ in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. To create the ideal finish Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE filled American oak casks with his own blend of select West Indian rums.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit gold to rich amber with coppery bronze and mahogany-tinged depths—a warm spectrum echoing the trio’s caramel-honey, vanilla-rich finishes.
Nose
Warm, honeyed aromas greet with vanilla and orchard fruit. The 12 Year lends delicate sherry‑cask spice and toffee; the 17 Year deepens vanilla, green apple and creamy notes; the Caribbean Cask adds a tropical lift—rum‑smoked sweetness, dried fruit and spice. A refined bouquet of warmth, caramel and subtle oak.
Palate
On the palate, Balvenie unfolds as a refined trio: honeyed warmth and spice from the 12 Year DoubleWood; deeper vanilla, green apple and creamy toffee from the 17 Year; and Caribbean rum-finished sweetness with tropical oak from the 14 Year, all wrapped in a lush, silky finish.
Finish
Across the trio, a refined finish of warm vanilla, spice and orchard fruit. DoubleWood 12 offers honeyed sweetness with oak; 17 adds creamy toffee and green apple lift; Caribbean Cask closes with rum-kissed brown sugar, tropical fruit and velvety spice, carried on a long, polished oak linger.
