Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with a sunlit honey glow and pale amber edges.
Nose
Subtle peat smoke threads through a bouquet of zesty citrus and white stone fruit, with whispers of coconut and vanilla drifting toward white chocolate. On the nose, clotted-cream sweetness and vanilla-scented pastry mingle with green apple rind, thyme, and a hint of creme brulee, while a refined oak-drying note lingers. Fresh, summery, and airy, a Balblair perfume from a storied Highland distillery.
Palate
Silky and bright, this Balblair pours citrus zest and white stone fruit with coconut and vanilla cream. A whisper of smoke lifts the mid-palate, releasing spice that recalls creme brulee and vanilla ice cream. Apple skin and green-apple notes mingle with a drying oak that gives gentle grip. The finish is long, warm, and softly sweet, wrapped in toasted wood and a sunlit citrus echo.
Finish
Smoke threads through a bright citrus and white stone fruit core, cascading into creamy vanilla, coconut and white chocolate. The finish rests on drying oak with creme brulee sweetness, apple skin and vanilla ice cream lingering softly, like a summer breeze fading on the palate.
