This "Bothy" limited release is aged for 6 years in ex-Bourbon casks then 18 months in smaller quarter casks for a more intense American oak influenced Arran. A big and bold dram with flavours of white chocolate, toasted vanilla, coconut, poached pears in syrup, pineapple and sweet spice on an impressive finish for a young malt. Great value for money cask strength Arran.

Colour
Sunlit gold with warming amber depths and a subtle coppery glint.
Nose
Bold, creamy vanilla and coconut rise on the nose, entwined with white chocolate and poached pear in syrup, with a tropical hint of pineapple. Warm spice and a touch of American oak linger.
Palate
A bold, creamy palate unfolds with white chocolate sweetness, toasted vanilla and coconut, then pear in syrup and pineapple rise in lush, fruit-forward waves. Quarter-cask oak injects a resinous, sweet-spice warmth, coating the mouth with syrupy richness and delivering a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long and bold, the finish coats the palate with vanilla and white chocolate, then tropical notes of coconut, pineapple and poached pear in syrup. Sweet spice lingers, carried by the quarter-cask oak, leaving a warm, syrupy glow as the warmth slowly fades.
