Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany undertones and a coppery glow.
Nose
Opulent and warm, the nose unfurls with rum and raisin fudge, creme brulee and treacle tart. Rich black cherry threads mingle with marzipan and nut brittle, while a cola-cube fizz hints at fizzy spice, all bathed in lush Sherry sweetness.
Palate
Rich sherry-soaked figs and dates mingle with treacle tart and mince meat, a whisper of tiramisu, all carried on a big, firm oak mouthfeel.
Finish
An expansive, lingering finish of buttery roasted honey and toasted nuts, unraveling into rich fruit cake, black cherry jam, and aromatic spices, all perfumed by Sherry oak.
