Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with copper-bronze highlights and a mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry envelops ripe dried fruits—raisin, fig, and date—alongside orange marmalade and dark chocolate. Caramel-toffee, toasted almond, and spice (cinnamon, clove) mingle with velvety oak for a luxurious, warming nose with cocoa-tinged depth.
Palate
On the palate, sherry-driven richness envelops the tongue: dark-fruit sweetness with figs, raisins and cherry, brightened by orange zest and cocoa. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—ride over caramel and toffee, while velvety oak adds depth. Full-bodied and warming, the finish lingers with hints of dried fruit, chocolate and spice.
Finish
Silky and deeply warming, the finish lingers with lush sherry sweetness—prune, fig and dark chocolate—touched by toasted oak. A long, velvet tail of spice and orange zest stays with you, fading slowly into warm wood and hints of espresso.
