Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunrise-gold to deep amber, with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Warm sherry envelopes ruby fruit, raisin and fig, with orange zest, toffee and vanilla. Toasted almond, cacao and soft oak mingle with a whisper of spice and malt, evoking a sunlit Highland dawn. A hint of leather and faint smoke lingers, a testament to patient cask refinement.
Palate
Silky on the palate, this Highland dram reveals sun-warmed sweetness and sherry-influenced depth. Dried plum and raisin meet caramel, orange zest and walnut, with creamy vanilla and a hint of cocoa behind balanced oak spice. The mid-palate stays smooth; the finish is long and warming, leaving a citrus-bright glow.
Finish
Sunlit and long, the finish unfurls with sherried warmth—rich dried fruit, orange zest and dark vanilla melt into toasted oak, leaving a velvet, cocoa-dusted glow that lingers with gentle spice.
