Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural golden-amber, sunlit and warm with honeyed tones and a creamy radiance.
Nose
Juicy golden sultana and raisin entwine with waxy, ripe orchard fruits, honeycomb and beeswax, satsuma jelly and a distinctly Tokaji-like pudding wine perfume, inviting a sweet, sun-warmed fruit bouquet.
Palate
Waxy orchard fruits, honey-glazed pastries and toffee-caramel wafers join a touch of sweet spice. Juicy dried fruits mingle with honey, nutty cornflakes and a veil of golden syrup on the palate.
Finish
Apricot glaze and honeycomb linger with quince jelly, sweet grapes and a bounty of ripe orchard fruits, finished by ribbons of runny honey that slowly coats the palate.
