In 2022 on the 8th of June, Tomation will be celebrating their 125th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, the distillery are releasing this limited edition version of their 12 year old Single Malt. Tomatin have commissioned Emily Hogarth, an Edinburgh based papercut illustrator, who has visited the distillery and created a unique illustration to commemorate the anniversary.
You will see that included within the artwork throughout are key components which capture the distillery's history; each representing different stages in the making of the whisky and the stories behind it.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with a coppery sheen and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent, sherried nose with ripe orchard fruit and toasted oak; raisins and fig mingle with dark cocoa, caramel and orange zest. Vanilla and a whisper of spice linger, inviting with refined warmth.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied on the palate, it delivers rich dried fruit and dark chocolate from the sherry influence, layered with orange zest, honeyed pear, and vanilla custard. Cinnamon and clove spice drift through polished oak, yielding a creamy, gentle warmth that lingers with a hazelnut finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of dried fruits and orange zest, with a whisper of cocoa beneath a warm sherry sweetness. Gentle spice lingers, supported by toasted oak and a soft nutty echo.
