The third of the "Five Virtues" series to be released, after Wood and Fire comes Earth and a first for this Distillery, a peated Tomatin not under The Cu Bocan label.
Aged in Re-fill Hogsheads with only 6000 bottles available for this limited release.
Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour.
More like the Cu Bocan range than the Tomatin core range, this is one enjoyable journey into a fresh and green fruited subtle smoky Highland malt (whatever they call it!).

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with a sunlit amber glow and a whisper of copper.
Nose
Creamy lime curd with white pepper opens to smoked vanilla pods and chocolate lime sweets. Sooty green apples mingle with elderflower, singed grass and delicate floral notes, punctuated by pear drops.
Palate
Poached pears in smoked stock syrup form the luscious backbone, brightened by aniseed and white pepper. Creamy vanilla wraps around angelica and green apple, while boiled sweets and wine gums glimmer through. A drying oak lends backbone, with a final kiss of sooty, ashy peat and a lift of lime.
Finish
An enduring finish of elderflower syrup and lime curd gives way to a smoky vanilla and white pepper blanket of peat. Pear drops echo on the palate, lifted by a whisper of Kendall mint cake for a crisp, green-tinged afterglow.
