The third release in a series of four Sherry cask finished single malts from Tomatin called the "Cuatro Series" (Spanish for four)
First Fill Ex-Oloroso Sherry cask finished for 3 years after 9 years in Ex-Bourbon casks.
Only 1500 bottles released and all four in the series were from stock distilled on the same day (January 15th 2002)

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery shimmer and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Caramelised orchard fruits, pear drops and raisin bread mingle with toasted tea cakes and plum jam, lifted by mocha and gentle winter spices.
Palate
Rich and decadent, the palate opens with walnut whips and treacle tart, followed by fruit and nut chocolate. Marzipan sweetness and festive Christmas cake spices weave through, leaving a warm, lingering finish.
Finish
A warm, dessert-driven finish: tarte tatin and caramelised walnuts fuse with coffee liqueur, ginger cake, and a cool menthol echo that lingers.
