One of a four part series called Cuatro (Spanish for four) from Toamtin released in 2014 to showcase four different Sherry cask finished single malts from stock all distilled on the same day (January 15th 2002)
The Fino cask release spent 9 years in Ex-Bourbon casks and 3 years in Ex-First fill Fino Sherry wood casks.
Limited to only 1500 bottles.
A very elegant and subtle Sherry cask influenced Tomatin with the trademark salty Fino notes showing well here.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with a subtle sunlit amber halo, a refined, translucent warmth that hints at the Fino finish.
Nose
Salted cashews with soft ginger spice, madeira cake and dried fruit.
Palate
Salted toffee popcorn, butterscotch, cashew nuts and madeira cake.
Finish
An enduring finish of salted and sweet fruit cake, with waxy lemon rind and vanilla-spiced warmth lingering on the palate. The salty Fino note remains, delivering refined citrus sweetness and a delicate, mineral-inflected fade.
