One of a four part series called Cuatro (Spanish for four) from Toamtin released in 2014 to showcase four different Sherry cask finished single malts from stock all distilled on the same day (January 15th 2002)
The Fino cask release spent 9 years in Ex-Bourbon casks and 3 years in Ex-First fill Fino Sherry wood casks.
Limited to only 1500 bottles.
A very elegant and subtle Sherry cask influenced Tomatin with the trademark salty Fino notes showing well here.

Nose
Salted cashews, soft ginger spice, madeira cake, dried fruit.
Palate
Salted toffee popcorn, butterscotch, cashew nuts and madeira cake.
Finish
The theme of salted and sweet fruit cake continues along with notes of waxy lemon rind and vanilla led spice.
