The complete Five Virtues series of whiskies is a creative collaboration between the Award winning Tomatin Distillery and leading contemporary artist Evu Ullrich. Each whisky is representative of one of five natural elements, or virtues, that are essential to life, to civilisation, and of course, to the production of Whisky.
"Since 1897 we have been combining soft mountain water with tender local barley, introducing it to tall copper stills and - following years of maturation in oak casks - collecting the mellow, fruity spirit. Approaching alchemy, the process reveals nature’s extraordinary elements in all their glory. Indeed - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water - elements central to civilisation’s most ancient philosophies, enjoy incredible synergies. Combined, they produce outcomes far greater than their sum."
This unique, highly collectable series of whiskies will only be available for a short period of time. It is sold complete with a booklet that explains the origins and philosophy behind the whiskies, and detailed tasting notes.

Golden amber with a sunlit, honey-rich glow and subtle copper undertones.
Nose
An elegant bouquet that nods to five natural virtues. Bright orchard fruit and pear mingle with honeyed malt, vanilla and toasted oak, while a gentle sherry sweetness lingers. Subtle spice—nutmeg and clove—drifts with citrus zest, and a cool mineral lift adds finesse. A harmonious spectrum of wood, fire, earth, metal and water—bright, balanced and inviting.
Palate
Silky and evolving on the palate, this Five Virtues collection reveals a spectrum from malted sweetness, vanilla and honey to bright orchard fruit and citrus. A weave of spice warms the middle, with sherry-influenced depth and oak restraint, finishing long, refined, and mineral, echoing the elemental balance of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

Long, contemplative finish that lingers with elegance. Warm oak and orchard fruit give way to a gentle smoke, mineral clarity, and a refined, drying spice, fading to a soft, lasting sweetness.
