Colour
Deep burnished gold with warm amber highlights and a coppery sheen.
Nose
The nose opens with foam bananas and sharp tangerine pith, then bright lemon and the briny tang of caperberries in saline. A coastal edge is tempered by torn parsley and fresh green herbs. Floral and sweet notes emerge, apple blossom and honey, over a tropical dusting of coconut shavings. The peat is restrained, drifting in and out with an elegant, subtle touch that never overwhelms the delicate fruit.
Palate
Creamy, cooling entry of vanilla yoghurt with a gentle medicinal iodine note. A zingy, fresh smoke threads through warm oak spice and polished sandalwood. Tropical echoes surface again with coconut yoghurt, then tart kiwi and crisp green apple, delivering a bright, multi-dimensional palate that balances Highland heft with lively acidity.
Finish
Long, impeccably balanced, with bright acidity that lingers into a trail of gentle wood spices and the comforting sweetness of toasted oak.
