When matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, this rich, fruity and full bodied ‘new make’ spirit is transformed into a classic Single Malt. Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 12 years and is brought together in this rich and complex Whisky characterised by spice and dried fruit and a natural rich golden colour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden amber with warm honey-gold highlights and a coppery glow. The Sherry Cask influence lends sun-kissed depth, giving a luxurious, velvety shimmer.
Nose
Opulent Oloroso sherry notes entwine with warm oak, honeyed vanilla and subtle orchard fruits. Dried raisins and dates rise with spice, caramel and cocoa, delivering a rich, inviting bouquet that previews the Macallan’s signature fruit, sherry and wood spice harmony.
Palate
Silky and warming, it delivers dark plum, fig and raisin woven with vanilla and toffee. Sherry cask influence adds spice, cocoa and a refined sweetness, while American and European oak contribute depth and a touch of oak spice. The finish lingers with dried fruit, nutmeg and a polished, warm glow.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfolds with warm sherry sweetness and spice, as dried fruit and toffee mingle with rich oak. Cocoa and orange-zest notes linger, leaving a velvet, balanced warmth that slowly fades.
