Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep antique amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany edge, a sun-warmed bronze that glows in the glass.
Nose
An expansive, aged nose of rich dried fruits—raisin, fig and orange peel—coated with toffee, vanilla and a trace of leather. Spiced by cinnamon and nutmeg, it finds depth in cocoa nibs, dark chocolate and toasted oak. Hints of antique furniture, cedar and a whisper of sherry sweetness weave a refined, long-lingering aroma.
Palate
Silky, deeply sherried and opulent on the palate, with dark raisin and fig fruit carried by orange zest and toffee. Spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—wind through polished oak, a whisper of tobacco and almond nuttiness. The finish is long and warming, revealing mocha notes, leather, and a refined mineral brightness that lingers.
Finish
Long, velvety finish lingers with warm spice and toasted oak. Dried orange peel, fig and dark chocolate unfold slowly, a luxurious echo of sherry richness. Silky tannins glow with ember warmth, while polished wood and a hint of leather linger as the spirit fades.
