Leaving the 90s behind, Daniel Craig embodies the Bond of the noughties. From his first appearance in Casino Royale, never was a card game presented so stylishly and with more tension in any other film. The setting, ingredients, character and dedication to craft combine to deliver an utterly compelling result.

The packaging design features a dramatic car sequence from Casino Royale (2006), and a digitally sketched rooftop chase in Quantum Of Solace (2008).

Colour

Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany edge, like liquid sunset in a crystal glass.

Nose

Fresh and vibrant notes of lemon and lime, a sprinkle of sherbet, leading into a sweet vanilla and coconut, with a hint of dried fig and raisin.

Palate

Orange zest and fizzy sherbet lift with lemon freshness, followed by gentle oak and a hint of ginger spice, opening into deep dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart, finished with a honey drizzle.

Finish

A sweet, lingering finish that reveals layered complexity—honeyed warmth, cocoa, dried fig and a whisper of oak and spice, long after the last sip.

The Macallan
Macallan was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824 on the Easter Elchies Estate above the River Spey, and it was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to become legally licensed. The name comes from the older place name “Maghellan”, combining the Gaelic magh for fertile ground with a reference to St Fillan, who was associated with the church that once stood on the estate. Easter Elchies House, which remains central to the brand’s identity, dates from around 1700 and still sits at the heart of the estate.
