On the nose there are aromas of fresh fig jam, diced almond, a touch of tobacco and subtle vegetal wafts. Coffee and walnut cake come to the fore on the palate, along with rum-soaked raisin, dried red chillies. Slightly buttery at points. Subtle wine-like qualities on the finish - rich and fruity.
