The fifth and final release in Teeling's Revival Series. Volume V is a 12 year old single malt that was initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and then finished in both Cognac and brandy casks. The whiskey has been bottled at 46% without chill filtration.
Limited to 15,000 decanter style bottles.
Drinks more like a white port or a calvados, light and easy drinking and yet beautifully elegant with it.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Calvados or pear cider, tarte tatin, all very definately apples and pears driven, some orchard blossom notes along with vanilla sponge cake, candyfloss green grapes, toasted and aromatic oak spice and hints of coconut and marshmallow.
Palate
Pear frangipane, apple blossom, green grapes, toasted oak, raisin fudge and all very soft and mellow on mouthfeel.
Finish
More apple and pear with creamy vanilla, toasted almonds and white nougat wrapped up in a soft and grapey finish.
