Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a burnished gold core and copper-tinged edges.
Nose
Sherry-rich and inviting, the nose blooms with dried fig and raisin, dark plum and orange zest, laced with vanilla, honey and toasted malt. Subtle almond, cocoa nibs and a touch of clove echo in the background, framed by warm oak and a gentle, velvety sweetness.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, it glides across the palate with fig and raisin sweetness, bright orange zest and toasted almond. Sherry influence yields dark cocoa, vanilla, and a gentle spice, all framed by warm oak. The finish is long and comforting, with lingering dried fruit, cocoa, and a subtle leather note.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with sherry sweetness lingering behind a velvet veil of dark fruit. Fig and raisin give way to cocoa and toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove weave through. A bright thread of orange zest lingers, leaving a refined, persistent warmth that softly fades to murmurs of spice and oak.
