Colour

Rich amber with coppery depth and a sunlit honey glow.

Nose

Rich and inviting, the nose unfolds with dark fruit lifted by sherry-seasoned sweetness: raisin, fig and cherry mingle with polished oak. Honeyed malt and vanilla weave through ripe orchard notes, while a hint of almond adds nuttiness. Subtle cocoa, spice and a whisper of citrus zest emerge, giving a graceful, refined bouquet that hints at deeper richness to come.

Palate

Silky malt coats the palate with orchard fruit, honeyed sweetness and toasted almond. Sherry-influenced depth brings dried cherry, raisin and cocoa, balanced by gentle oak spice. A creamy vanilla glow lingers, finishing with a warm, subtle malt sweetness and a soft, lingering bite.

Finish

Long, luxurious finish with a soft sherry glow. Dried fig, almond and cocoa unfold into orange zest, while cinnamon and clove warmth lingers over toasted oak. A velvety, lingering finale that invites another mindful sip.

Tamnavulin
(Tam-na-VOO-lin) Tamnavulin opened in 1966 in the village of Tomnavoulin, beside the River Livet in the foothills of the Cairngorms. The purpose-built distillery stands on the site of a 16th-century carding mill, and the old wooden water wheel still appears on the brand’s bottles. After closing in 1995 during the industry downturn, the distillery reopened for testing in 2000, underwent a major refurbishment in 2007, and changed the shape of its stills in 2010.
