Colour

Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a trace of mahogany.

Nose

Rich, dusky aroma of dried figs and raisins mingles with dark cocoa and espresso. Candied orange peel, almond and vanilla add sweetness, while toasted oak and a hint of leather lend depth. Spices—cinnamon and clove—linger with a warming, honeyed finish.

Palate

Silky and refined on the palate, with a core of dried fruit and fig, cushioned by warm vanilla and gentle spice. Rich almond, cocoa and toffee unfold with a measured sherry sweetness, supported by poised oak. Long, luxurious finish of dark fruit, nutmeg and subtle tannins.

Finish

An exceptionally long finish, sherry-warmed and richly fruity. Dried fig and plum mingle with orange zest and cocoa, while toasted oak lends depth. Spices—cinnamon and clove—linger gracefully, fading into a warm, nutty afterglow with a subtle, lingering smoke.
