Nose
Sherry-softened elegance: ripe plum and fig entwine with raisins, orange zest, and toasted almond, brushed by toffee and vanilla. Cocoa nibs and gentle spice drift over velvety oak, delivering a warm, resinous aroma that hints at refined maturity and a lingering sweetness.
Palate
Silky and generously weighted, this Strathmill sherry-cask unfurls sun-dried fig, raisin and orange zest over honeyed malt. Nutty almond, cocoa and toffee drift with creamy vanilla as spice—cinnamon and clove—lifts through. The 55% ABV provides a sturdy backbone, delivering a long, warming finish of oak, dried fruit and a touch of bitter chocolate.
Finish
Long, velvety finish of rich sherry sweetness, with fig and raisin fruit, orange zest and cocoa nibs. Toasted almond, caramel and spice persist, while oak and clove weave a warm, refined echo that slowly fades to a lingering, dignified finish.
