Colour

Deep amber with burnished copper and mahogany undertones.

Nose

Rich muscovado sweetness rises with curling pipe smoke and Christmas spice, edged by sandalwood. Orange zest and baked apples mingle with chocolate-orange notes, sweet tobacco, linseed, and earthy undertones, hinting at a warm, smoky complexity.

Palate

Initially intense molasses gives way to a dry peat smoke that lingers. Pipe ash, raisins and sultanas mingle with nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, then yield to toffee apples, drying oak, tobacco and leather. A brisk freshness emerges: pine, blood orange and sweet grapefruit brighten the smoke.

Finish

The sweet spice melts away, leaving a comforting warmth of dried fruit and peat-fire.
