Colour

Bright golden straw with a warm, honeyed glow.

Nose

Coastal breeze carries sweet malt and citrus zest, unfolding into honeyed orchard fruits and creamy vanilla. Sherry cask influence adds raisin, fig and almond, with a touch of toffee, while sea-salt whispers and a gentle spice linger on the nose.

Palate

Bold and creamy at its core, the palate delivers rich vanilla and honeyed malt, layered with zesty lemon and orange peel. A maritime whisper of sea-salt and gentle iodine sits behind spicy white pepper and cinnamon. Full-bodied yet refined, the 57% ABV lends a silken heat that carries to a long, oak-dusted finish with sweet-fruited echoes.

Finish

Long, warming finish with coastal sweetness, honeyed vanilla and toasted oak. Subtle mineral brine threads through, fading to a gentle spice and a creamy, lingering aftertaste.

(SKAA-pa) Scapa was founded in 1885 on the shores of Scapa Flow near Kirkwall, making it one of Orkney’s long-established distilleries as well as one of the most northerly in Scotland. Scapa is one of only two distilleries on the island of Orkney, offering a stark contrast to its neighbour, Highland Park. Unlike the peated style of Highland Park, Scapa produces an unpeated whisky matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a lighter, creamier, and fruitier profile.
