Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany tint.
Nose
A luxurious bouquet of dark plum, fig and blackberry, laced with sherry-soaked raisin and cocoa. Warm spices—cinnamon, clove and allspice—thread vanilla and toffee, with a bright hint of orange zest. Opulent, velvety and inviting, the aroma bathed in glossy fruit and soft sherried sweetness.
Palate
Velvety and full on the palate, with ripe dark fruits—plum, fig, raisin—braiding with bittersweet chocolate. Sherry richness sweetens the profile, tempered by caramelized vanilla and warm spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Silky tannins and a touch of oak add gravity, fading into a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with dark fruit, cocoa and spice, carried by velvet vanilla and a nuanced oak glow; sherry sweetness lingers, leaving a chocolate-dusted, refined aftertaste.
