Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey initially matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. The whiskey was then finished in Tawny Port casks for a number of years, adding a new dimension to the profile used in the expression. All of the whiskeys then completed their maturation journey by marrying in freshly seasoned tawny port hogsheads for a final maturation period of 14-25 months.

Colour
A rich tawny amber with coppery highlights and a lacquered mahogany glow—warm, inviting and gleaming with aged-port allure.
Nose
Sweet, warming confectionery on the nose—buttered pastry entwined with caramelised almonds, a touch of praline and dried cherry. Scented floral honey lingers, with delicate herbal whispers, while seasoned oak and pot‑still spice frame the sweetness in a rich, balanced bouquet.
Palate
Rich and nutty from the outset, with chocolate-coated hazelnut and salted caramel giving way to ripe plums and dried figs. A soft tannic backbone smooths the creamy texture, revealing hints of orange marmalade and a delicate kiss of toasted oak.
Finish
A lingering finish where pot still spices and orchard fruits recede slowly, leaving the tawny seasoned oak to deliver the final, graceful impression.
