Since 1811, Port Dundas Distillery has been a beacon of Glasgow's Scotch whisky capital and was once the largest distillery in Scotland, but the last drops fell from the stills in 2011 and sadly soon demolished. Here, we honour this vintage spirit from one of Scotland's iconic lost distilleries.
"Gently matured for 26 years, this sweet, creamy spirit from Port Dundas Distillery has been delightfully developed by a fruit ladened ex-Bourbon hogshead. We have elegantly elevated this lost lowlander by maturing it for two months in an Oloroso Sherry hogshead, a superb balance between spirit and oak."

Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany edge, a creamy, honeyed hue deepened by the Oloroso finish.

Vivid orange oils mingle with gingerbread and mellow toffee, inviting a bright citrus-ginger sweetness and a creamy, comforting warmth.
Palate
On the palate, fruit cake sweetness unfolds with warm baking spice and candied citrus. A creamy, velvety mouthfeel carries the spice with subtle oak, delivering a refined, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Velvety, creamy caramel lingers on the palate, seasoned by sweet peppery oak with a warm, nuanced spice that slowly fades to a polished, enduring finish.
