Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a burnished copper glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Coastal peat and iodine rise in a briny haze, smoke wisping through sea-salt air. Sherry sweetness hints at fig and raisin, wrapped in vanilla and soft oak. Citrus zest—orange oil—lifts the aroma with bright precision, while the peat stays focused and refined. A vibrant Islay nose that marries rugged smoke with polished, fruit-forward warmth.
Palate
Powerful peat and sea-salt air fuse with sherry-tinged sweetness. Dried plum and dark chocolate unfold on the mid-palate, while orange zest and soft spice lift the finish. A creamy oak backbone carries a lingering, smoky warmth with refined Islay character.
Finish
An enduring finish of coastal peat and sherried sweetness, slowly unfurling with cocoa-dusted smoke, ripe dried fruit, and orange zest. Nutmeg-spiced warmth lingers as the sea-air tang softens, leaving a velvety, dusky oak and a final whisper of peat.
