Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery undertones and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Peat smoke dominates the nose, with briny sea air, iodine and coastal ash. Beneath, sherry-influenced notes of dried red fruit, almond and cocoa mingle with vanilla and a touch of toffee, finished by a bright twist of orange zest.
Palate
On the palate, bold peat and maritime salt surge first—smoked brine, ash and iodine. Dried fig and orchard fruit emerge midpalate, carried by vanilla oak. Pepper and clove spice knit to a long, drying finish, where smoke lingers with saline warmth and a faint sherry-edged sweetness.
Finish
Long and maritime, this finish unfurls peat smoke with briny tide notes, then settles into warm vanilla and oak spice. A crisp mineral lift keeps the smoke alive, trailing a refined peppery warmth that lingers softly on the palate.
