Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, dark amber with mahogany hues and a coppery glow.
Nose
An indulgent, dessert-forward bouquet: pralines mingle with baked apple, caramel cheesecake and orange blossom honey. Subtle salted cereal blond chocolate threads through, adding a savory counterpoint to the sweetness and a luxurious, almost decadent aroma.
Palate
Sweet, with heather honey and raisins, layered with dry plum, a touch of mocha, and a whisper of smoke weaving through the palate.
Finish
A long finish of spiced French toast, its cinnamon-kissed sweetness and buttery notes giving way to toasted, smoked nuts; a warm, lingering drift of spice and smoke.
