The excellent Paul John Brilliance. Produced at the John Distillery in Goa and using 6 row barley from the Himalayas. This is a lovely creamy, smooth single malt. Surprising given the age of the whisky (3-5 years) which is due to the higher evaporation levels and cask influence in India.
Cereally and buttery on the nose. The palate is fruity and smooth with flavours of orange, toffee and vanilla. A long and pleasant finish.
