Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich burnished amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Aromas of lusciously sherried fruit—prune, fig and raisin—meet bright orange zest and dark chocolate. Toasted almond, cedar oak, and a hint of leather add structure, while a delicate spice weave completes the perfume.
Palate
Silky and sherried on the palate, it coats with dark fruit such as fig, prune and raisin, woven with cocoa and toasted almond. Subtle orange zest, cinnamon and polished oak bring refined spice, yielding a long, warming finish with a faint lingering sweetness.
Finish
Long, sherried finish with ripe fig and raisin sweetness that gives way to dark chocolate, espresso, and toasted oak. Cinnamon and clove linger softly, adding warmth as a velvety fade, with a subtle nuttiness that remains on the palate.
