Sweet toffee and treacle cloak the oak, while warming spices—nutmeg and cinnamon—thread through. A whisper of vanilla and leather adds elegance, hinting at a long, refined maturation in a hidden Highland cask.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, this 1970 North Port offers velvet sweetness of dried fig and raisin, braided with orange zest and soft toffee. Subtle oak spice and walnut mingle with delicate fruit, unfolding into a warm, persistent finish.
Finish
Long and elegant, the finish unfurls in gentle waves of sherried sweetness, dark fruit and cocoa. Oak spice lingers, wrapped in vanilla and almond, with a softly resinous, slightly drying note that persists with quiet grace.
