Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold warmth and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Polished oak and antique leather rise to meet a rich Oloroso sherry lift. Dried fig and prune mingle with orange zest and treacle, while vanilla, toffee and almond paste lend sweetness. A whisper of nutmeg and cocoa completes the warm, stately aroma, hinting at the grain’s caramel backbone.
Palate
Silky, mouth-coating palate of vanilla, honeyed toffee and almond, braided with dried fig and prune from the Oloroso cask. Subtle spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, white pepper—over a sleek grain backbone, with polished oak and cocoa. Full, warm finish at cask strength, balanced by sherry richness and a refined, nutty glow.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish, rich with Oloroso influence: dark toffee, dried citrus and fig, with walnut and almond. A creamy vanilla spine yields to warm spice and oak, leaving a velvety, persistent glow that lingers softly.
