Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, burnished amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany-bronze glow.
Nose
Opulent and warm, it opens with dried apricot, fig and almond, braided with honeyed toffee and vanilla. A sherried depth adds dark chocolate, raisin and toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove spark a peppery lift. A bright citrus zest and a subtle creamy cereal note complete the profile, hinting at its graceful 30-year maturity and refined balance.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this single-cask dram coats the tongue with creamy richness and a warm sherried sweetness. Dried fig, raisin and orange zest weave with dark chocolate and espresso, while spicy notes of cinnamon and clove mingle with toasted almond. A soft oak gloss tightens the finish, leaving a long, luxurious warmth and a whisper of leather.
Finish
Opulent and long, the finish coats the palate with sherry-tinged dried fruit, dark chocolate and espresso, then relaxes into toasted oak and a ribbon of spice that lingers warmly, tapering to a velvet, lasting fade.
