Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with sunlit copper highlights.
Nose
Banoffee pie in a glass: ripe banana and toffee mingle with vanilla cream, offset by a kiss of salted popcorn. Grainy maize sweetness, gentle oak, and a soft undercurrent of spice rise from the glass, delivering a warm, dessert-like bouquet with bourbon-driven vanilla depth.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and creamy, this grain coats the palate with banoffee sweetness—ripe banana, vanilla, and toffee—lifted by a whisper of salted popcorn. A touch of bourbon-spice sits through the mid-palate, leading to a long, warm finish where caramel, banana and vanilla linger with refined grain depth.
Finish
Silky, long finish of warm toffee and vanilla, with whispers of banana cream and salted popcorn lingering on the palate. A gentle oak spice emerges as sweetness gradually fades, leaving a creamy, dessert-like memory that mirrors the banoffee profile of this refill bourbon cask.
