Distillery Bottling
Nc'nean makes a big impression with the smallest footprint. Every bottle is certified organic, made in their verified carbon neutral distillery and bottled in a 100% recycled glass bottle. Made from organic Scottish barley whose natural yields and rich soils contribute depth of flavour. The gentle fermentation and distillation accentuate the delicate, fruity flavours in the spirit. Matured in specially treated red wine and American whiskey barrels to develop the spirit’s signature body and sweetness.

Colour

Rich amber with coppery highlights and a wine-warm ruby glow.

Nose

Aromas of crisp pear and green apple rise with citrus zest and a whisper of honeysuckle. Vanilla and toasted oak from red wine and American whiskey casks mingle with a fresh barley malt, carrying a gentle red berry sweetness. Elegant, perfumed and airy, with a poised depth that hints at its refined, organic character.

Palate

Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, this Batch #18 unfurls delicate fruity notes with red berry and orchard fruit, intertwined with vanilla-caramel from the red wine and American whiskey casks. Subtle spice and fine tannins give gentle structure, while creamy oak fuels a warm, lingering finish.

Finish

Long, red-wine-influenced finish with ripe berry and plum notes, guided by vanilla and gentle oak. A soft spice threads through, leaving a warm, silky length that lingers and invites the next sip.
