A 21 year old Speyside single malt from the lesser known Miltonduff distillery that is mainly used for the Ballantines blends.
Distilled 7/2/1995 bottled 22/2/2016 Bottled at 45.8% ABV.
My second super Miltonduff in a week (also check out the G&M indie release of the 20yo cask strength) maybe Miltonduff is like buses, nothing for ages then two come along together!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Apricot glaze meets orange blossom honey, with bread and butter pudding, creamy ginger latte, and delicate wisps of fresh wood shavings and candied peel.
Palate
Milky mocha coats the palate with rice pudding and apple puree, waxy orchard fruits (apricots foremost), tunnocks toffee wafer bars, champagne truffles and white chocolate.
Finish
A honeyed finish on toasted sultana pancakes, lingering waxy orchard fruits and refined spice, with more bread-and-butter pudding notes, vanilla custard and a touch of lime.
